When time to get things done is limited, sporadic, or inconsistent, the need for having a pre-decided priority list to act from becomes paramount to making the most of any work moments.
I think about the lessons I’ve learned from Dave Ramsey for budgeting with irregular income or not enough income. You list payments in order of priority and pay through that list with the income available. When more income arrives then pay the very next item of the list. This way, each priority gets taken care of at the earliest opportunity.
Sometimes working harder isn’t an option. I must choose to work smarter.
